Great restaurant inside of the Graduate Hotel. We had breakfast here after checking out for the day and it was wonderful. Our server was very attentive and friendly and our meals were really good!!

Going to the Graduate for a birthday dinner at the Panorama Room but find out it had been reserved for a Private Event. So I had to Pivot to Anything At All and though it was no where near the Ambience of the Panorama Room, the service was great!! Including a surprise birthday cup cake!! I even forgot my bottle of Champagne and was able to go back for it!! Righteous!

Really nice place inside the Graduate Hotel on Roosevelt Island that, as others have pointed out, suffers from some organizational issues. We stopped here for lunch on a lovely Saturday in September after attending an event at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park. I like the vibe of this place, with lots of old college textbooks all around the lobby and the restaurant, the overall modern look, and how bright the space is with tons of light coming from the glass wall facing the Cornell campus. Food was also great: my grain bowl was very tasty and beautifully presented with the watermelon radish; the AAA aged beef burger was incredibly tasty. The service definitely had problems, but not because of the servers working the room. Our server, Miguel, was amazing. The main issue is that it seems that the restaurant is understaffed. Once we were seated, it took 15 minutes before somebody came to bring us water and take our orders. The problem is that the couple of servers and the bartender present at the restaurant at the time were really super busy, running around nonstop and each one multitasking between the tables, the kitchen, and the bar. Similarly, it took a long time to get the check as our server was bartending at that point, covering for the bartender who was helping in the kitchen. The maître d' took care of our check in the end, as everybody else was just super busy. Maybe they just happened to be short staffed on a Saturday for lunch, but I really hope for the sake of all the servers/bartenders that the people working here get some extra help during service. 20% gratuity automatically added to the check (which I like).

Amazing, Spectacular, Beautiful can't wait to go back again. Lovely time with my Georgia Bestie. The atmosphere was so clean and welcoming. The server was a delight we couldn't even tell she was new until she said it. The bartender was a delight(he kept the jokes coming, which everyone loves when they go out) the bathrooms were clean(surprised it was unisex but everyone had their own stalls, which was a plus) Please keep it up because I hate going to a nice Restaurant and the bathrooms are filthy. The food a delicious. The broccolini needed a little more interesting ingredients such a a salty and sweet element(just a suggestion for next time)

I was pleasantly surprised how delicious the food was here. And I know this may be an odd thing to point out but their fries ARE PERFECTION. So crisp and yummy!! I ordered the hot chocolate at the table and my best friend had the matcha and she kept bragging about that matcha the entire trip. And that it s big deal to say about her. It was easy to grab a spot for an early lunch... we were staying there at the time so we came downstairs and were immediately seated but I am unsure if it's normally that open.

Visited this past weekend for date night and was able to enjoy a cool night outside. The waitress was very attentive and the food was decent. Definitely not as bad as others made it. I really liked the branzino, it was the perfect amount of crispy outside yet warm and savory. The sauce was also phenomenal. The clam bucatini was decent and a bit dry but still very tasty. The truffle fries was truffle fries. You can't really go wrong! I definitely will be back if I find myself back on Roosevelt Island. Having the Panorama Room upstairs also helps!
